Juvenile Delinquent Love Story

Long time no write! But lately, things have been happening and I can't share my thoughts on this anywhere else.

Being in high school, EVERYONE IS CRAZY!!  there are the good kids, and of course, the "bad" kids. Back in January, a local girl (who I know.. We can call her Mo...that isn't her real name.) who is my age, stole money from her parents and ran away with this senior boy.

Now Mo. She's gorgeous, and seems so innocent. I was quite shocked when I heard about this. She was gone for quite a while. It was the buzz of the entire school, and everyone was curious about what was going on. They found her in a California hotel room, and she returned back home.

This girl was in my Physics class. For the rest of the trimester, all I heard was her answering the many questions her friends had to ask her. What drugs she did. What she did with the guy. WHY she stole the money. Etc.

In my physics class there was also this boy, who we can call Q. He had just transferred to our school. He was tall, slightly chubby, shaggy brown hair, and he was obviously a trouble maker . Q and Mo had known each other from middle school, and they were slightly acquainted.  And after being in the same group in physics, they became friends, and of course were

When Mo ran away, it was after this situation that  involved a whole group I'm not sure of. Q was completely freaked out, he went out, drove all around town looking for her and couldn't find her anywhere. On Facebook all his statuses were about how he thought he loved her and that he couldn't smoke weed or do ANYTHING like he used to because all he would do is look for Mo. I thought it was kind of cute. Word's can't really describe what I mean by this. All he wants is to break her out and see her. And it's one of those situations where a boy is so caught up in so many girls, but there's always just one special girl in the back of his mind. And through all this crap, they've fallen in love.

It hasn't kept them out of trouble, but it brings them closer and closer to staying out of trouble.

Recently, Mo has gotten in trouble AGAIN. And Q's family is going through  a lot of crap. I can't stop wanting to hear more about their lives, not because of the gossip, because if you know these people in person, it's really a unique story that everyone talks about. A week ago he posted on her Facebook that he doesn't care what probation says and that he wants to be with her forever.

... I should really stop creeping.

The Hunger Games Midnight Premier

Last night, Ashlyn and I went to The Hunger Games midnight premiere. If any of you have ever been to a midnight premiere, you are probably aware that you have to get there like four months early to actually get a spot in line. Ashlyn and I got there about 7:45 pm, and took our spot on our blankets. We got out Scrabble and dorkishly started playing it, and then her mom brought us Panda Express. The line was lining the HIGHWAY (fenced off, of course) and we thought it was long where WE were? HA! No.

It was like Woodstock or something. There were like 8 million people (ok, not really, but might as well have been), and everyone was playing guitar or ukulele, reading the book , long boarding and whatever they felt like.
At one point a couple dressed as Katniss and Peeta showed up. They had the costumes PERFECT.

When the 5 hours was finally up, we got seated. I was beyond tired and started to struggle to stay awake. Luckily there was a couple who kept kissing and giggling and stuff... and annoyingly eating a bag of chips to keep me awake.

The director knew exactly what he was doing, but I don't like how they left out a few details that made the book. Like they did the pin thing wrong, and the flashback of Peeta giving Katniss the bread was really vague. It was one of those movies that's a lot deeper if you have read the book, but I still recommend it.

I'm BACK

Lately I haven't been posting a lot on here. I've been exploring and posting on Tumblr. I have also been going through a hard time, emotionally, so I haven't really WANTED to post anything on any blogs. I see that I have had a lot of views since I last posted, more than the usual. So I will start getting some INTERESTING things up to read, and succhhhhh!!! I'll go brainstorm.

So you know how when you're on Facebook, sometimes you see a little music note next to someone's name that says they're listening to something on Spotify? Well, I love Spotify... I have found a lot of great music that I didn't know of before on it.

My favorite one right now is probably this guy/band called The Rocket Summer. This guy is pretty close to being my new obsession. WHY is he 29?! HOW is he 29!? AAAH!!! They're pretty amazing. I am not sure why they aren't more popular.

Check it out! I highly recommend getting Spotify if you don't have it yet. It's free, unless you want the premium version but that's kinda pointless cuz the only advantage on premium is just no ads.

Watch it. Nowwww.

LIGHTS

Recently, Alana from Ashtyn & Friends introduced us to this awesome chick. She is a singer from Canada named LIGHTS and well... One, SHE IS HOT. I'm not even lesbian or bi, but come on, look at that! ^ I wish I was that hot. Second of all, you listen to her music and it's actually GOOD pop. It's kinda synthesized, but the lyrics really speak.

I know that I have heard her song Saviour but I'm not sure where. She almost sounds like Selena Gomez except her voice is more mature and she doesn't do that weird thing before each phrase of a song to help her find her pitch. And her music videos are extremely creative. Such as her music video for Second Go.

She kind of inspires me in a way. And I like how she seems so powerful yet gentle in her music. If you have never heard of her, go check her out! Her music is the type of music that you either automatically hate or automatically love. Or it numbs you so you're not sure if you like it or not. Some of her songs I think are ridiculous, like My Boots. Others are better though. Happy listening!

Tumblr and Temple Run

Lately, I have been making many attempts to make my life more exciting. So I've been trying really random things, such as deciding to follow my Facebook friends and play Temple Run. I downloaded it the other night when I couldn't sleep and played it for about 45 minutes. Fun? All it did was tick me off. I think it's kind of a stupid game but it's like the top free game on iTunes right now. The next day in my Spanish class, all we did was a review and then whatever we wanted because it was a fiesta day. We all started about how everyone is obsessed with Temple Run and the next thing we know, all 20 something of us have our iPods or iPhones out seeing who can get the highest high score. I think it's stupid! All you do is run out of this little building getting chased by these freaky monkey bird monster things and you have to turn places and avoid fire blah blah blah and if you trip twice then you're dead.

In my other attempts to make my life more exciting, I finally decided to make a Tumblr, since I was like the only one in Ashtyn & Friends without one. I like Tumblr, except the only thing that I don't like is that you have to know all your friends' URLs if you want to follow each other and stuff. So it's hard to even get more people on there. I feel like such an Internet obsessed nerd sometimes. I don't spend too much time on the computer but I do have.... a Facebook for social stuff, this for my creative/stupid stuff and ideas, and now a Tumblr for everything else that I need to get out. I was thinking about posting my Tumblr on here but I decided not to. >:)
